To my surprise and pleasure, a few days ago I stumbled on the work of Wolf Cub 11, a writer who until now was unknown to me. Just two pieces: "Snipped" and "Growing up". In both, the theme is of neutering grade school boys in a grade school background. Both are very short: vignettes rather than short stories. In one, the boys have their balls taken right out, in the other they are injected with a neutering drug. Both are sensitively written and deserve looking up by members interested in this genre.

Fully agree, I'm a fan too. I like the tone of his stories. There is something that feels 'real' when reading his pieces; it's told in a matter-of-fact way that just seemed to let me sink into the 'reality' of the scene. I love it when that happens, and I'd love to see more of his work.

Just a note on how to quickly find the stories by this author.

From the fiction archives go to the "W" section of the authors. Use your browsers search feature ( CTRL+F in Chrome) and type in wolfcub11

The Author's name is run together and not three separate words.

Short minor stories are great. I'm planning to write some short ones like those two.
