Hi, It´s being 2 years since I started self-medication with estradiol and antiandrogens, but now I´m gonna take the right Path. Finally it seems like I have found an supportive endocrynologist who is learned about hormones for Trans women. I hope everything it´s ok I´m a bit nervous in my first visit, since because of my work I wear less femenine and wear boy clothes. My first appointment will be after work so he will see me wearing boy clothes.

Hi Frida, good luck with your transformation and best wishes for 2019. I dress all female now but a few years ago I used to switch between feminine and neutral / vaguely male. I weirded people out a couple of times by dressing boyish but forgetting to take the makeup off.

Hey Frida,
Your doctor will listen to you. Write your points down on paper. About five questions or points. Keep it simple and to the basics. Tell the doctor everything about your prior use of medications. Remember, your protected by doctor patient confidentiality.
You could consider bringing more feminine clothes with you and changing in the restroom at the doctor's office.
You don't need good luck nor do you need a brave heart (you already have a brave heart). So, I'll just wish you well and am looking forward to a report after your appointment.

Congratulations! I hope that you find as fine an endocrinologist as I have. Tell it all as it is. These folks have heard anything you can say, all before and are never surprised, but supportive.
It's going to be a great day!

Thank u all,
My "Testicles" are not testicles any more, only debries after 3 years of calcium chloride i´m not sure if i should tell him about what I´ve done because maybe he should be learned about my natural low production of T. I don´t know...

Hey Frida,
Yes. Tell the doctor everything. Unless they feel you are an immediate harm to yourself or someone else, you are protected by confidentiality. The privilege of confidentiality belongs to you, not the doctor.
If you feel you might be too embarrassed to tell the doctor about the injections, then write it down as one of your points on your paper. Keep the paper simple. I write down my points on an 8.5 by 11" piece of paper. I use a sharpie and try to keep my concerns to only five questions or concerns. Then, I put the paper on the exam table and sit in a chair in the exam room.
I'm not telling you what to write on your paper, but something like this:
1. Transgender Male to Female
2. No Previous Visits to a Doctor Regarding Trans Issues. Would like blood test for liver, kidney, hormone levels.
3. Been taking medications I purchased online for 2 years - estradiol and antiandrogens.
4. Except for work, I wear mostly female clothes
5. Used Calcium Chloride into testicles to eliminate as much testosterone as possible. No plans for further injections of Calcium Chloride.
I know from experience (cancer and a few other problems) that it's easy to know exactly what I want to say at my next appointment. Then, when I get there my mind goes blank. Worse, the doctor disagrees or seems judgmental over my first point and I don't mention any of the other points.
Not to worry, the doctor isn't going to break your confidence. Also, since you don't plan on further injections of Calcium Chloride, the doctor won't see you as a harm to yourself.
Stay strong, this visit is going to work out. Even if you don't get everything you want, it's a great first step.

Haha, that reminds me of a guy in high school. The local cops gave out tickets near the high school for any minor excuse. This guy rolled through a stop sign without a complete stop. The cop freaked out because this butch guy had tons of makeup on for some costume that day. He put on his makeup at home. But dressed normal to drive to school. Without the rest of his costume on when he got stopped, the cop was creeped out and visibly afraid of him.

Everything ok in the first appointment. He request me lab tests first. I told him all what I´ve done even the calcium injections. He has treated some trans women so he know what has to be done. I´m very happy so far
