Advice needed please.

Hi

Can anyone please help with a couple of questions I have?

Do Testosterone injections as in TRT hurt?

What area of the body do they inject (have been told it is buttocks)?

How often do you have them?

How long do they take to inject?

The reason I ask is I am on Testogel at the moment but my levels are all over the place and I keep forgetting to apply it as well as having problems getting it here in the UK.

So seeing my doctor later this month and I want to discuss other options for TRT I would like a really low dose just to keep me interested for the wife:dong: and maybe a low dose of Estradiol for my bone health but not sure he will agree with that.

Any help you can give would be great.

Thank You in advance.

Hello,

I have Testo injections every 3 months. They are injected above your butt and it takes about 2 minutes, as the injection has to be done slowly and carefully.

When I was taking testosterone cypionate my self injections were virtually painless. It is an oily substance so takes some time to draw into the syringe and at the full does of 0.7ml would take about thirty seconds to inject. I used a 22 gauge needle and 1ml syringe and although most guys self-injected in the mid outside thigh, I always did mine in the upper portion of the butt lying on my side. I took it on the first and the fifteenth of each month. The trick to making an injection painless is to jab quick and not hesitate. Now due to the hormone causing an elevation in my red blood count I stopped taking it over six months ago and stared donating blood to bring the count down. If I get it under control after the first of the year I may resume the T and just keep giving blood every few months.

You don't need injections anymore or patches, just gels and creams. Testosterone gel works well and you just rub it into your skin. You get better results than injections.

I agree with Hash. Gel lets us control the dosage day by day.

Inject it subcutane with a insulin needle and you will feel nearly nothing. :)

Gels are also nice, but could be at evening the levels are relative low, if you apply it only in the morning.

For me 100mg Enanthate or Cypionate per week are perfect and feels like the natural level.

Used to use 100mg T cypionate into fat somewhere, weekly. Easy with an insulin needle, and barely noticeable.

I found the T-effect so slow that sometimes I would do 200mg bi-weekly, with very similar results.

Seems messy gels daily suit some folks, but I never tried them.

My current hrt is E tablets, but don't take T tablets. Bad for the liver.

If in doubt, ask a friendly doc!

Too much T leads to too much E2 and that's really problematic.

Find your lowest dosage where you have good feeling/effects. :)

For the most 100mg/week is really good and it's a really good stable level after any weeks..
