HI everybody, i'm a great fan of the eunuch archive, but i will be a better fan if it would be possible to read more snuff stories with young guys.

To each his own.

Just keep in mind that I'm the one who has to read these things before posting them, and I DON'T like snuff stories. That's not to say that you can't submit one, or that there aren't any on the Archive. If you like them, fine. If you want to write one, fine.

HOWEVER, if it is a snuff story, it damn well better say SNUFF or DEATH in the header/synopsis box ... one thing (just an FYI) that I DO NOT like is to be halfway into a story and suddenly the hero, eunuch, boy ... whomever ... gets popped.

As an Author, I've killed off characters before ... sometimes you have to get rid of them, you know, one way or another. It's a matter of how you do it, and theme, though.

I don't mean to disparage or say that I'll trash any snuff story that comes along - I won't do that ... I just like to have some warning so that I'm ready for it before it jumps up and bites me in the ass, OK?

Thanks.

;)

SNUFF is not for me and even if the story is HOT HOT HOT with a minor boy in it, I will NOT read if its a snuff story

Same here.

While there is a place for those stories, I am not a big fan. I don't like them and they make me very, ver nervous. THOSE are the types of stories that will eventually get the Archive shut down by do-gooders.

I just want to add my two cents. There is probably a place on the Internet somewhere for the snuff stories that you want to read. I just hope that the Archive never becomes that place.

Slammr’s recent story was extremely well written. (He’s a fine author.) BUT, it was also profoundly disturbing. I wish that I had never read it. I would not want EVER, unsuspectingly, to find another story like it.

A Major good idea.

If a Author writes a SNUFF story and does NOT give a warning that it is a SNUFF story, then I think it is only fair to us readers who do NOT like SNUFF, that Paolo trashes the story and writes the author a E-mail asking him/her/it to resubmit the story with the warning.

Yes agreed Eric. Personally I don't like the Snuff Stories either and always try to avoid them.

The story, “Jeopardy,” was never meant as a snuff story. I’m sorry that it upset so many people, but it was meant to be disturbing to portray the evil that exists in serial killers. They are completely without any redeaming attributes. Although I am normally opposed to capital punishment, I have no problems with it’s being applied to serial killers. Ted Bundy escaped from custody twice, killing several women after his second escape. To prepare for the story, I read about several serial killers: Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, and others. I also watched several movies about serial killers. I didn’t enjoy the movies-would not care to watch them again, but, as a result, I feel only disgust for these perpetrators of evil. It was that disgust that I was trying to convey in the story.

It may be strange, but I’ve received more praise by email (8) for Jeopardy than for any other story I’ve written. As of the time I’m writing this response, Jeopardy has had about 3700 hits. For my story, “The Contest,” which has the most hits at 7100, I’ve had one general response, which said, “I like your writing.”

There were warnings-one posted by me and another by Paolo. If people chose to read it anyway..., but I won’t write any more such stories. Paolo has no choice, but to read whatever I submit. A warning wouldn’t spare him, and he found the story disturbing.

I’m thinking of another story in which some people die, but it’s not a snuff story. It’s more of a Stephan King type story. Everyone in the story will be over eighteen years of age. It’ll be called “Haunted.” Are there objections to this type of story?

There's nothing wrong with bumping off a character or three ... sometimes it happens. True SNUFF stories are ones where the only intent of the story is carnage and killing of the main character(s).

When you get right down to it, my own story 'XY-n' probably has one of the highest "body counts" on the Archive, including one rather loveable little boy who gives his life "for the cause".

Even best selling authors kill off characters. If someone dies in the story, then they die ... if it fits the storyline, it's fine. Killing off someone on the side doesn't really make it a SNUFF story.

I'm probably not doing a very good job of explaining it, but does it make any sense?! I tried.

I think of my stories on the EA as snuff but they are snuff followed by rebirth. By means of nullification a boy is put to death. If it's forced upon him it's an execution. If he's a willing accomplice it's a murder suicide, but either way his life as a male is finished. It's a form of death.

But there's a second act. The boy is reborn as a eunuch and that's his second life. As a sexless creature the boy is both diminished and empowered. He'll never be a man but he'll never suffer from the weaknesses of men.

If you'd asked me about it when I was 10 or 12 I don't think I'd have been able to put it in those words, but that's how I felt about it. That's how I've always felt about nullification. That's why I'm terrified of it but at the same time sort of drawn to it.
