Medical people don't believe I'm castrated.

I just spent 4 days in hospital thanks to a severe asthma attack. They always ask me the usual questions about past surgeries, so I tell them. Dr. ordered blood drawn to check my T level. Duh! Next time I'll just lift my gown....

You should have seen the look on the east Indian doctor when I showed up in the ER after my penectomy (prior castration so nullified), with complications. I think she was quite surprised to see what she probably thought was a white hijra.

I'm not sure that ordering a blood draw to check your T levels was because they didn't believe you. It might just have been that they didn't see any HRT on your meds list and wanted a T level to see where it was.

I've put down my appendectomy and never had them look for the scar to prove it. The same with my thyroidectomy, the scar is really not noticeable and I've had doctors reconfirm that it was a total thyroidectomy verbally, then check my thyroid hormone levels. I never got the impression that they didn't believe that I'd had those surgeries.

Maybe they believed you and just ran the appropriate lab work?

There was no need for that particular lab. I live in the boondocks so perhaps that had something to do with it.
