As a teen sharing work and life stories with cowboys, you d be surprized how real I learned jokes like that can be for men and horny teens in very rural farm and ranch life. Stuff like this really happens and it never gets in the news. The men stay quiet and everybody acts like he got what he deserved when a man gets gelded. The men don t even avoid the women involved afterward. Its just accepted as frontier justice. The truth is stranger than fiction.

You made the comments about farm women and castration. Back 15 years ago when the internet opened up discussion about the subject to one and all, occassionally there would be reference to some rural area where a bunch of the men had been cut by women. As best I could tell over time, that was a mythical place. That is not to say it does not happen, but when it does it seems to be a one-off thing like the Bobbitts which does not have much relationship to other lives.

You ever run across that mythical place or do cuttings occur as individual cases here and there thru the years? If so, could I ask where?

I ve never heard of any mass geldings in one place. I ve heard of individual geldings done on unwilling teens and men, usually as punishments for impregnating women and refusing to marry them and not support the baby.

I ve had farm and ranch raised women enthusiastically talk to me about knowing how to castrate livestock and offering to castrate any willing men and asking us if we d let them geld us. I ve had men ask me to castrate them, face to face and by internet. I never agree to cut any men. I ve had men seriously want to castrate me, with me willing or unwilling, a number of times since I was in my teens. The men are serious about it, not just common joking. And with the women I m not really sure if it was a joke or if they were seriously fishing for interested men willing to be castrated for real. I think some women were serious and would do it, nurses and vets and vet techs especially. I ve overheard women talking among themselves about wanting to castrate this or that man, even their own husbands. Again, its tough to separate joking from true desires in that kind of talking among women since I don t know them that well.

But I ve had men I know very well tell me one on one over campfires or working side by side of teens or men they personally knew who got livestock type castrations against their will that never got reported or asked for any police investigation. Most often done by some woman s male relatives as a punishment. These were in midwestern and western states in the US. I ve had first responders, cops, firemen, and paramedics tell me about castrations they got called out to deal with, saw themselves and verified as true. Those never get in the news or newspaper, like most suicides don t get any news coverage. Lots of things routinely get censored from any news coverage..

I m sure no one is counting or documenting these castrations, especially the ones where men don t get any medical care, or beg drs to keep it quiet if they do.

I also hear a lot of unverified stories of castration being used as revenge or punishment in rural Mexico, in individual one on one cases as frontier justice man to man, not by authorities. Lots of luck reporting any of those and getting any official justice there.

I ve heard of men getting pants caught in machinery and their penis or scrotum " degloved " meaning the outer skin is pulled off in one piece, instantly, like a glove. The mangled skin is ruined for re attaching, so skin grafts are needed to replace the lost skin.

Hell yeah, what s the point of manly outdoor work if you have to keep your shirt on ? Its crazy how many employers won t allow men to work shirtless lately, as if its offending anyone or unprofessional. I ve had jobs where we were not allowed to work bare chested. That sucked in the heat. Sweat drenched shirts are not appealing to anyone compared to bare chests. Real men work bare chested and love showing off ! I always tell men working for or with me to strip their shirts off to stay cooler and allow the sweat to evaporate like it needs to for cooling them as they work. Wind on a bare sweaty chest is nature s air conditioning outside. I ve had people ask me and my buddies if we even own any shirts lol ?
