Ibstarted on androcur and loved the immediate results. 100mg a day. The problem was that I got acid reflux at meal time terrible. What is the lowest goal dose I can take and still receive the castrate levels I desire? I love the results but the acid reflux was horrible. Thanks. Love the site!

Try going to 50 mg daily for a few weeks and see the results. I found this to be a good level for Androcur. If satisfied you can stay on 50 mg or try and go to 25 mg and see the results after a few weeks.

Thanks, another question if I can, how long is the safe recommended time to use androcur? My wife and I have agreed on this and it makes both of our lives easier after 24 years but we are concerned on long term use. She is not sold on surgery but loves the androcur.

I agree with "experiment" See how low you can go and still get the desired effect. You may be fine on 25 mg/day or even less. There's not a lot of information on prolonged low-dose Androcur. As for the acid reflux, I'm on Omeprazole long-term and can eat and drink pretty much anything without any problem. Interestingly, Omeprazole seems to stimulate breast growth, which works in the same direction as Androcur.
