Just wanted to note that if you want to kill erections, this type of medicine will do it. Its an aromatase inhibitor. That means it keeps your body from creating estrogen. If you have almost no or too little estrogen, you can't get hard. Long term you can lose bone density and other side effects.

I've used it personally to keep a check on my E levels as I am on TRT. I take 1/4 table once or twice a week. So for me a very tiny amount. For women with breast cancer I think it is 1 pill a day.

I was glancing through the notes on it and it does say DO NOT take with Tamoxifen.

Anyways I don't know if anyone has tried going soft this route, but I do know when I was starting out and used it at a higher rate, it would kill erections.

I'm always surprised this doesn't get mentioned or discussed. Or if it has been, I don't remember and haven't seen it recently.

From what I get doing a search on anastrole and erectile function is that this drug is used to treat erectile dysfunction that is caused by estrogen in men. It seems to decrease estrogen and increase testosterone. I gather it is given to men specifically to increase testosterone as a testosterone replacement treatment or to treat erectile dysfunction. An ideal drug to kill erections should cause erectile dysfunction. It is also helpful to prevent gynecomastia or other unwanted female characteristics.

Its not generally used in men. Mostly abused by body builders who are abusing other drugs that drive up their E with steroids.

I learned about Arimidex from the Yahoo group hypogonadal2. For people just on TRT you can use a tiny amount 1/4 or a 1oz pill to control youe E levels. If you take too much, no morning wood, and you can't get ANY wood. You need estrogen for boners as well as bones.

I just no that no estrogen equals limp noodle, which is often the goal of folks on here. It makes you really unable to get hard. Just another alternative to chemical castration. It is surprising its never talked about on here.

I'm not expert, but have read about it and experienced it.
