Young man 26 years old androcur and osteoporosis?

Post by Erico1992 (imported) »

Hello everyone, I'm 26 years old and I'm pretty sensitive to testosterone since adolescence, I already did a cure of 1 month with androcur but after having sensitive nipples I stopped the treatment.

My question is, are the risks of osteoporosis reduced because I am still young? Or is it as risky or risky to develop osteoporosis with long-term treatment?

Hey,

Yes. osteoporosis is a big concern. It's best to have a bone density scan everyone in a while. Talk to your doctor.

Ok, is not it better that I see a psychiatrist for that? I see a lot about the group who use tamoxifene and raloxifene to avoid osteoporosis and gynecomastia but when I did talk to my doctor, he really did not advise me because of the serious side effects and he told me even women do not want to take it's medicine

If you are young and physically active—i.e., getting some impact loading on your skeleton such as by jogging or playing tennis—that can help resist osteoporosis. However, the data from women, who go into menopause early because of cancer treatments, suggests that youth alone is not a protection against osteoporosis. As for men, the longer they are androgen (and estrogen) deprived, the more likely bone demineralization is to progress. But the medical data are for men at the age of prostate cancer patients, i.e., 50s, 60s, and 70s.

It is interesting that you got nipple sensitivity while on Androcur. That may not have been pleasant, but it suggests elevated estrogen levels and that is a good thing since it is estrogens that are bone protective. The aromatase enzyme in the male body converts a small amount of testosterone to estrogen and that is what protects bone health. Lack of testosterone is significant because it leads to loss of the estrogen.

You might want to look at a copy of Androgen Deprivation Therapy by Richard Wassersug and two co-authors. While the book is designed for prostate cancer patients who have been castrated as part of their treatment (and who do not want to be castrated), it includes excellent information on bone loss and on eunuch sexuality and other topics that might be of use to you.

During my teenage years, I was obese and I found that my penis did not grow as fast as my classmates or football team, I was always embarrassed when it came to the shower, especially by the size of my height very young at 16 I was already my maximum size 1m95, at 17 I decided to take my hand because I was doing 120 kilograms so I did a lot of sports and diet and I I lost 40 kg, only despite being thin the underside of my pectorals was slightly soft and with a mass, so I always had a gynecomastia that took a little more volume because of my androcur treatment of 1 month

For my gynecomastia if I have surgery to remove it and I take over androcur, will she push it? What medicine did you recommend to prevent osteoporosis?

I think you didn't get many answers because your translation was unclear. I can't tell exactly what you mean by this:
