Finding therapist for sign-off?

I am wondering what people's experience has been finding a therapist to sign off on nullification surgery. Any insights or experiences related to this prcoess would be appreciated.
I understand that this is currently a precondition for surgery when performed in the US. I would like to start to get my ducks in a row.
Here are some factors that are considerations for me:
- I move around a lot, a long and ongoing relationship with a therapist would be difficult or impossible. Are remote sessions doable for most therapists?
- I am not expecting insurance to pay for surgery and am prepared to pay out of pocket (though a hardship).

I found this website useful for finding people:
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists
The home page isn't great, but once you sort by state it's very helpful. Filter for "Transgender" under "Issues" and look through practitioners' descriptions and websites, then email or call one if they seem prospective.

I am raising/saving money for my own surgery after insurance rejected my claim, however I already have my two letters done and submitted as per WPATH standards. The surgeon gave me a therapist he knows, and that one went well. I had to find a local therapist though, and chose someone who worked with trans individuals. It's not a long process. The surgeon's recommendation wrote my letter after one phone call. The local therapist wrote the letter after two face-to-face sessions.

Will you have everything done at once in a single procedure , or start with getting castrated seems to be the usual order

You are very lucky. It's really very little effort in comparison to the difficulties I have to face here in Germany. After five years of counseling there's still no one willing to write a letter.

Any resource for Canada? Any Canadian fellow out there who is starting the same journey towards nullification?

Canadian here. Dr. Aguilar at the Mexico Transgender Clinic in Guadalajara will apparently undertake nullification surgery without therapist letters. While I didn't need a letter for castration, I did consult with a US therapist prior to undertaking the procedure just to reassure myself that I wasn't going to regret it. That was by phone. She's unfortunately since passed on. Best of luck.

You might start with the Sherbourne Health Clinic (
https://sherbourne.on.ca/primary-family ... alth-care/), in Toronto. They do a lot of transgender work, so would be in a position to advise or help you.
