XXY and Bodybuilding

Post by XXYGuy26 (imported) »

I’m about to be 27 on 9/23. When I was 17 I found out I was born intersex (47, XXY) with Klinefelter’s Syndrome. My body doesn’t produce enough testosterone, so I was put on testosterone injections since I was 19. My balls are thus useless/essentially I’m a eunuch. I hope to transition into a nullo soon.

Another part of my transitioning into nullo is to get my body in the best shape that it can be. I’ve always wanted 6-8 pack abs, an Adonis belt, and other muscles to match. I know that muscle development is relegated partly to genetics though. Are there any others who are XXY and have gone down the body building path? What have your results been? Any tips or tricks? Have you considered estrogen blockers?

Thanks,

Rich

I don't see that there would be too much of a problem if you stick with the TRT.

Bodybuilding is all about a sensible diet and a good training program.

Most competitive bodybuilders are on supplemented testosterone and have HPTA shutdown.

Good luck getting the surgery done.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm going to have to watch my diet like a hawk. I'm stalling my diet this week because admittedly I went a little crazy at the grocery store stocking up on "hurricane food" (junk food) for a storm that now isn't tracked to hit Baltimore that much, if at all. I have a friend on the same nullo path as I who is a personal trainer, and he's going to help me with my regimen.

Stay safe over the next few days.

Your trainer will put you right on the diet.

I hope you like Tuna and Turkey as these were a staple a while back.

I feel that the surgery will put you out of action for months and any gains made now may be lost whilst you are recovering.

Perhaps some of you folks out there who have had this surgery don can help give guidance over recovery time etc. ?

I spoke with the surgeon about it and know that I will experience down time. I'm not allowed to cum for 3 weeks, but I expect I'll be able to get back to the gum in a month or two. As far as I know, my diet will be chicken, turkey, tuna, fiber supplements (gotta be a good bottom), a multi vitamin, veggies, protein powder, pre-workout, and lots of water!!

Perhaps that high protein diet will do good work in helping with your recovery time.

Dorian Yates (former Mr universe I believe) had a consultant managing his diet and supplements who got his knowledge from working with post op patients in a trauma ward.

I was weighed at the doctor's yesterday at 217lbs. My goal is to get down to around 170lbs. My Endo says the perfect weight would be 153.25lbs (she measures me in the metric and then converts to standard), but I think that's too skinny. Who knows where I'll end up when I get my muscles though.

My testosterone levels are being checked, and I hope to get an increase soon.

I'd not pay too much attention to what the endo is saying. They use actuary charts and as American's have gotten larger, the charts keep lowering the weight. In the 1950's a typical 5'10" male could weigh 180 and be fine, now they have that down to 155. I think it's all about insurance companies and their being able to charge higher premiums for what in the past was considered normal. Even when I was in the military running 5 miles a day I could only get down to 165 and kept getting told to lose 10 pounds. My body simply wouldn't do it, no matter what I did.

You'll be weight training, so your ideal may be set somewhere higher once you put on muscle mass. The 153 pounds you're being told is more for a typical guy who isn't weight training on those actuary charts. You'd probably be fine at 175-180 if you're building up muscle.

I use to think that the recommendation for body weight was too low as well. I was 180 and am5’8. When I did go down to 155, to my amazement my blood pressure went down and my blood sugar which had crept up to the high end of the range fell comfortably into the middle of normal. I’m much older than you guys so maybe this is more age related, but it was great to throw away so much medication
