Do male-to-female transsexuals have sexual desires?

Since they lose their testicles and have much less testosterone, they are practically eunuchs and have very little to no libido? Is this correct?

No. I would call that a shortsighted prejudice. Even some eunuchs who go without T do not encounter much decrease in libido. Many trans women, though not all, will undergo estrogen therapy. I am no expert on estrogen or trans women, but as far as I know estrogen therapy can either increase or decrease libido depending on the individual, and many trans women are sexually and romantically active.

Prejudice? No. My reasoning is "if eunuchs try to decrease T to get rid of their libido, shouldnt MTF transsexuals have almost no libido (because they dont have testicles)..

If MTF transsexuals have libido (although they have very low T), whats the point of decreasing my T to get rid of my sexual desires.

I want to chemically castrate myself and i want it to worth the risks. What im afraid is using Androcur and still having libido.

The way I understand it is without any hormones T or E, the libido decreases. I know now that I'm on week 5 of Spiro that is the case. But if you add back T or E it increases again. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Just like Dekeldoh says above, it all depends on your individual body. The saying "your mileage may vary" YMMV, is certainly true. There are no hard and fast rules to this.

Trans Females almost always are on Estrogen. So, they would have a libido. Their libido on estrogen would be that of a female.

Some of that would depend on their trans journey.

A MTF trans pre-teen who uses puberty stopping drugs to delay puberty until they are a bit older might never go through a male puberty. Instead, once they've had therapy and they, their therapist, their parents are all satisfied that they are in fact a trans female, they might start Androcur and estrogen. Which would start a female puberty for them. Surgery to reassign "the bottom" would only come after they turn 18. But the brain is the biggest sex organ.

If a trans female goes through male puberty first, it might change the way they view sex, sexuality, libido. But, if on E, they would have a libido.

I didn't mean anything personal by the word "prejudice," so please don't take offense. Preconception or misjudgment may have been a better word. But your reasoning wasn't great. Heck, many trans women might even have testicles. Estrogen therapy can precede surgery by years. And again, I'm no expert, but estrogen, especially in amounts intended to cause significant feminization, may hike up libido just as much as T. There isn't really that much overlap between trans women and eunuchs.

You sound like you may be better suited simply asking how often/how much Andocur dosage X decreased libido for those who tried it. But there's no way to know for sure without trying it yourself.

I never underwent chemical castration, but I am approaching 3 months of no T after surgical castration. My mental outlook on things, including masturbation, has not changed at all, but involuntary erections are much less frequent. I can sometimes go 3 full days without petting my turtle before incessant night/morning erections start back up again. I would wager that even individuals that cite little effect often experience some benefit.

Before this gets out of hand, derryderry's initial post shows lack of knowledge, and the asking of a question.

Not prejudice.

Dekeldoh's response first uses the word "prejudice", in fact, where I see none implied in the initial post.

Dek. later states that nothing personal was meant.

Let's get that clear before this goes any further.

Some people see me as a transexual although I don't exactly. I am a feminized eunuch castrated in Aug 2015. I have a strong sex drive and am sexually active. I am 26 and have been on estrogen for about 4 months. I still have a penis and can get erect and climax although I don't really ejaculte any more.

Thank you Justine, for I have a similar situation. And after over 20 years since nullification I still feel the same. I indeed identify as a male eunuch, I have a strong libido, am sexually active and enjoy the climax to it's fullest. Society sees me as female because I have no external sex organs for them to hang their hat on. I suspect if there were still a penis they would be hanging their hat on that and calling me a male. Which I still am as I have no vagina (nor desire one) and enjoy the prostate within my body. ( a female has no prostate. It's too bad that most folks have such a lack of knowledge in these matters. I do not consider folks prejudice for simply assuming me to be female. They simply have a lack of knowledge and respond tho what they can see before them. The dumbest questions that exist are those not asked. So by all means derryderry, ask about what you don't understand and get a clearer knowledge by doing so.

I want to get rid of my sexual desires (my libido). I've started taking 100 mg androcur daily. So there is still risk of not losing my libido right? Its not %100 certain?
