Giving it another go.

After my first Androcur trial, i decided to give it another try.
This time I’m lowering the dose.
The first time I used 100mg per day. It caused some nasty side effects. (Breathlessness being the worst).
I’m planning on switching to Depo Provera in about two weeks (should arrive then).
this is to give me a head start in lowering my T.

After my testicles shut down ~2 wks after starting Androcur 100mg/day I went down to 50 mg/day and eventually 25 mg/day with no hint of recovery of testosterone. Even on that low dose the shortness of breath persisted - very annoying.

An update:
Two days ago the shortness of breath was so bad, i had to call-in sick from work.
Quit the Andro immediately. I’m starting to feel a little better now.
I got rid of the remaining Androcur, never going to touch that stuff again!
I really want to experience low T, but i prefer being able to breathe.
In a couple of weeks I’m going to try Depo Provera. Just a short trial.

The worry to me is that the Depo Provera being an injection isn't something you can stop. I'd at least suggest seeing the doctor for a physical and mention the shortness of breath. The reaction could be pointing to some other underlying health issue.
Good luck!

Sorry it didn’t work out for you.
That sounds like one hell of an allergic reaction you’ve experienced and I think you’ve make the right decision to throw them away and not touch Androcur again.
Good luck with the Depo Provera!

The strangest thing is the first couple of days, everything was fine.
Then my breating got worse. I decided to wait it out, see if it would get better after a day or two.
But it actually got worse and worse.
The weird thing is, that it only takes a day or two after stopping Androcur. It allready get’s much better.
