Canadian customers using Rogers Communications emails have new terms of service which allows Rogers to monitor the content of emails, attachments, etc to 'deliver, personalize and develop relevant features, content and services.' So it will be interesting to see what personalized ads will come to members of the EA.

It sounds like it's time for anyone who uses Rogers to either encrypt their communications or find a new provider.

Just do not use e-mail account provided by ISP.

One can change ISPs, but accounts tend to stay. Also - those days email access is encrypted anyway (with either SSL or TLS). Well, at least client<->server one.
