I'm a new member here. Actually I have been lurking on the forums for a long time, maybe years and just re-registered recently to ask for advice. I was castrated 3 weeks ago (last March 26) by a plastic surgeon and so far I can say that I'm at 80% healed already as of this writing. I did not experience any hematomas or bruising /discoloration during my first week post orchiectomy though the spermatic cords which were cut did swell as expected.
No complications as of yet though I'm a bit concerned about the remaining spermatic cords. 2 days ago I noticed that the cords seemed to have fused to my scrotum and to each other. It feels like the 2 cords stumps have fused to the suture site (I was cut with a midline incision to the scrotum). The cords were not fused when I was cut, during my surgery I felt that each cord was closed separately before releasing each cord back to the scrotum. I'm not feeling any pain whatsoever but I'm concerned that they may have permanently fused. Any guys here who have experienced the same thing? Based on your experience, will the cords unfuse from each other and from the scrotum on its own or should I have it checked by my surgeon?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
