This is a link to an interesting document. It was made by the US Department of Justice as a Guide to the "Treatment" of Incarcerated Male Sex Offenders.

It discusses pretty much a great many debunked treatments, then launches into more effected "modern treatments". Most of them have been debunked today. However, some are still in use. They also discuss chemical and physical castration as treatments. It's long by worth the read. Some of it would take a good fiction story in that the "modern" treatment is pretty invasive. It's interested because I assume the black out and redacted parts on page one are the authors. But, they are listed further down in the document. So, maybe not the authors?
