Actually this story isn't that simple, as title say.

I was browsing through russian language space of internet when I encountered this rather weird but still real life story. It was shown in Ukraine few years ago on STB TV channel.

A child was born with male, but deformed genitals. Urethra was misplaced and as I understand scrotum was also deformed, but penis and testicles were present. In hospital, due to this deformity doctors assigned to that boy a female sex with question mark. As a result mother started to upbring him as a girl. He was given a girl name "Ivanna". He was wearing girl clothes in school and was considered as a girl by his classmates. When he turned 16, he had his voice broken and started to turn into man instead of woman. Probably his mom panicked seeing all these unwanted changes. She went to doctors and asked them to remove all his son male organs, because in passport he was a girl. And doctors agreed on nullifying him as it seemed to be a best solution to a person that has been risen as a girl. As a result 16yo boy turned into eunuch. I am amazed how oblivious these doctors were about gender issues. It seems like they never asked Ivanna about he feels. As it wasn't enough, Ivanna had older brother with exactly the same problem - deformed male genitals. He was nullified too as I understand, and he ended his life due to unresolved gender issues.

On TV Ivanna tells that he feels neither man or woman. But he certainly isn't a woman, and never was. And that he is attracted to women, and he actually has a girlfriend. Im just speechless, this boy did not develope any breasts, and had no ovaries, and later he even tested to be a genetical male. And he was never asked who he felt like.

So on TV he states that he wants to become a man again. With that this broadcast ends. Later he attended to many therapy sessions but then suddenly disappeared. After a year he reappered again, and told that he don't want any changes, as his girlfriend likes him the way he is.

Quite apalling story, isn't it.

Here you could see him speaking: https://youtu.be/-5QDpoWPgsA?t=3m39s

In this video he is 24yo. You would notice his slight eunuchoid form and very thin appeareance. Almost no muscles. And still, he is attracted to women, and he actually has a girlfriend while he is nullo. And probably he has some sort of sexual life too. He finds acceptance from his girlfriend and does not follow his older brother suicidal path, which is kind of happy end.

A terrible story :(. I don't even want to watch the video. But we can also conclude from the story that even without testosterone, some sexual attraction can remain.

Sex change is about three years for obtaining various permits, and 30 to 40 days of observation in a psychiatric clinic. But "I'm shy of my body" is engaged in such very difficult cases.

Doctors of the project "I'm shy of my body" with the help of analyzes, surveys and simple communication found out that Ivanna Kuropatova, who turned to them for help, was born a boy with underdeveloped male sexual organs. Despite the fact that there were no female genital organs at all, the doctors considered her a hermaphrodite. As a result, Ivanna was persistently made "girl" from her birth. What is it like living with the problem of self-identification? Is normal life possible in the family, where there is no opportunity to discuss such a complex topic? And what is it like not to know your exact gender throughout your life?

At 16 the boy would have gone through most of puberty already which is why he looks and sounds male, which is what he is. So even if he no longer has genitals, he would have experienced what being an almost-adult male was like, and would have developed the sexual attractions which are typical of adult males and even if he does not have a strong libido, he may have a memory of having one (on top of that, there is still adrenal testosterone, and who knows if Ivanna has taken testosterone supplements). It's also known for people with Kallmann's syndrome who never naturally go through puberty to have girlfriends -- they will do it because it's expected of them. They just don't have sexual desire and the relationship may well founder on that when the girlfriend wants to take things further.

It's a mystery that they left it this long to remove his genitalia; usually decisions to reassign a child as female are taken at or not long after birth, before someone has had a chance to develop a male identity let alone go through puberty. But actually, masculinisation starts in the womb as the child is exposed to testosterone there. There's increasing evidence that reassigning a male child as female for lack of a penis doesn't work.

Yes, that's one of the many reasons why the Gender Studies ideology that gender is supposedly a ''social construct'' is a nonsense.

In my experience, eliminating testosterone doesn't erase sexual attraction necessarily. I think a lot of attraction is purely mental. I was once without testosterone and without replacement hormones and still felt a lot of attraction towards both sexes, particularly towards men. My attraction to both sexes is now gone, purely due to traumas, and I find anything sex related absolutely repulsive. I can't hide my visible disgust when it's talked about, or seen on tv, etc.

Have any psychiatric medications helped you reduce your sexual attraction? My aim is to remove all kinds of sexual attraction as completely as possible. I'm on a GNRH agonist now but my sex drive has not diminished yet.

It is said the largest sex organ, male or female, is between the ears in the head.
