Phantom feeling after castration

I'm curious about who have phantom feeling of balls after the castration.

Was writing with one who was castrated any days before and he says, it feels often as when he still has his ball.

Is this often the case?

If you are castrated, what are your feelings over time?

... I'm so impatient because ma castra is planned in one month... :D

It could be the case JoJo

When someone loses a leg, some say they psychologically think they still have their leg; so why not testicles?

I agree with @scuba cuba ,

Phantom pain and feelings are real. But, one big difference is that you now feel as if your balls don't belong there. So, when they are gone hopefully you'll feel whole and won't miss them or think they are still there.

Is your castration being done trans scrotal ?

I was told by my surgeon that there was a chance that I would still feel the odd pain now and again even after losing them both, but early days yet.

I had a penectomy 2 1/2 years ago. I still feel my glans during sexual activity/masturbation, and I do get itchy in the area where the scrotum and penis come together on the underside near the urethra. They are no longer there, so definitely phantom.

I actually kind of enjoy it all.
