A Note on Images & Avatars
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There have been a FEW complaints - not many, mind, but a few - about the size of attached files and avatars.
Attachments, whether with the IMG code or the 'attach' button, cannot be more than 50k in file size and cannot be larger than 640x480 pixels. If you link to an image, and it is larger than this, it will not come up.
Most pictures have portrait (vs landscape) orientation. Thus a picture measuring 200x481 pixels is rejected as being too large.
Is there some way to make the dimensions mutually interchangable (either 640x480 or 480x640) or can they be changed to 480x640 pixels to allow the maximum size for portrait orientation?
