Woman Cuts off Husband’s Penis for Sexual Assault, Arrested for Attempted Murder

A woman in Telangana's Karimnagar district has been arrested after she cut off her husband's genitals on Monday, October 25, 2017. She reportedly did it in retaliation after an alleged attempt at sexual assault by the husband, she told the police according to a report by The Quint.

R Ravinder, the husband, and the woman were known to have a rocky relationship, often fighting. But on Monday, Ravinder, drunk and angry, tried to sexually assault her in front of their two children. Shocked at his behaviour, and repeated abuse, she decided to take a knife and cut off his penis.

The police have arrested her for attempted murder, while they have taken Ravinder to a government hospital to be treated.
