Looking for a story

I've been a member here on and off, love reading the fiction pages, but never posted until now. I've been searching for days/weeks for a story I read a few years ago and can't seem to find, and I was hoping someone may remember the title.

The premise was a man who gave himself into slavery to a woman who was a veterinarian, who also owned a female slave. The two slaves were allowed no contact until the owner left for an extended trip, where the two dksves developed a deep connection and made plans to run away together. When their owner returned, the plan was revealed to her and the male slave was promptly castrated.

It was one of my favorite stories and I would love to read it again if anyone remembers it.
