Do not buy CaCl diluted in water, it can degrade slowly, I put the bottle in the trash bin. Buy only flakes, they are sold in plastic bags and can be stored safely over a long period of time. I made tests and found out the best dosage is 1 gram CaCl per 2 cc alcohol (Vodka, whisky...only a drinkable alcohol). It dissolves easily, after that I let air bubbles get out of the alcohol, once it is clear I inject.

Food grade calcium Chloride is used in cheese making to firm up the curds and to increase the yield from the milk. Since it is food grade, it is high purity and sterile so that is the type you want. Search for cheese making supplies.

Here you can buy it off the shelf in Walmart, the grocery store and any other place that sells canning supplies. Brand Ball called Pickle Crisp. This is what I used and alcohol.
