Hi Vince

I believe in the uk both NHS & private surgeons would not even consider castrating someone unless they had testicular cancer & that castration would lead to saving a patient's life

I was castrated in a UK NHS hospital a couple of years ago. Read the thread on calcium Chloride. I had shrunken balls and on going pain and eventually the medics agreed to remove them .

I haven't heard of anyone but that does not mean that a safe practice does not exist.

Use of a burdizzo I don't think is all that safe.

Getting the NHS to do the job for you is a bit of an uphill strugle due to funding cuts you are lucky to get a GP appointment within 2 weeks of asking so what chance is there of any surgery.

Best way is to ring up the vets get an afternoon apointment hand over £100 and see if you can get done:D

I would look towards Germany as I believe there are a couple of folks from a medical background practicing there.
