sewing back

losethem: now I remember, I've read your story :) But it's the only similar kind of story as far as I can remember.

Surgeons cut off hearts and livers and implant them to completely different persons. They are using special drugs to prevent tissue rejection.

Even accidentally cut off hands are sewn back wich are able regain their functionality in most part.

So why testicles can't be sewn back later? If freezing is not possibility, it is still possible to keep them alive with artificial bloodsupply, as they do with braindead people.

I'm guessing perhaps there was never enough of a demand for doctors to perfect the techniques to sew back testicles.

People can't live without a liver, lungs, heart, etc. And life without a hand is very inconvenient. But the testicles are more expendable.
