Any british wannabe eunuchs out there?

Hoping to see if there's anyone else on here who is also living in Britain and wants to get castrated. I would like to hear your thoughts and feelings on how you see your life progressing. How far are you willing to go to get castrated? Do you get frustrated (like me) that you can't just be castrated already? Do you ever feel melancholy because you're not able to get castrated straight away? If so, how do you deal with that? Etc.

I'd like to learn from others then whom find themselves in a situation like mine.

After my recent appointment with my GP recently, I know how already difficult it's going to be to get castrated via the NHS (near-impossible for me it seems). As I can't work and so I'm not rich, some overseas options (e.g Arnkoff) is off the table for me. I have been looking for other overseas options, but the only replies I've had are from India, which is not somewhere I'm particularly thrilled with for going to (and the prices there are high too).

Fellow Brit here. I'm going to be trailing chemical castration for a while and then based off of my experiences with that, I may consider getting surgically castrated. If I DO, I don't think I'd bother with my GP, I'm lucky enough to have a bit of cash, so I'd probably go with overseas doctors. Although I haven't really thought that far ahead too much!

Hi there.Coming from a fellow Brit I sort of feel that you may sort of broaden your audience by asking folks further afield than our little rock in the Atlantic:D

There may also be folks in Europe also that may be able to help.

I do apreciate where you are coming from so far as funds go and travel further from home is not only more expensive it carries a certain element of risk should anything go wrong.

I have come to the conclusion that things have to be almost at "Crisis Level" before you get anything done on the NHS as funding is tight these days.

Resurrecting this thread, as I am now firmly in the British 'wannabe eunuch' camp, after years of being unsure - am willing (and have the funds) to get the procedure done oversea. Don't want to have any contact with GPs or our frankly dire medical profession over here.

Would love to chat!

Agreed that you should cast your questions further afield. Remember we Yanks were British once and many of us carry plenty of British genes. Now I would think that in Eastern Europe one could find a willing doctor after a bit of research. Of course if anyone does I'm sure lots of guys here would want to know. Alternately, some men here simply destroy their testicles with injections of alcohol or salts and let the surgeons take it from there. Regardless, if the desire is strong enough most men will find a way. Just remember once it's done there is no going back.

Well if you want to come over the pond, there is a Board Certified Urologist located near Detroit, MI, who's been involved in SRS surgeries for quite a few years. He'll do the procedure base on informed consent, no letters needed. I believe his current fee is $3000.

It's not because of funding. It's basically ideological. They just won't do it unless it's medically indicated (e.g. testicular torsion, testicular cancer or prostate cancer) or you're transgender in which case it's part of the transition process, not an end in itself.

They won't prescribe chemical castration agents either.
