My Penectomy (From Banding to Penectomy, my story)

Hello,
i no longer have a penis. that was my goal for a long time.
i live in Germany and getting that done with therapy would have been to dificult and unlikely. First i thought about going to Bangkok, but too expensive and dangerous too.
what did i do?
three weeks ago i banded with 5 bands, injected lidocain and 10 ml Ethanol into the shaft, and froze it (softly) with a bottle of cold spray.
After 14 hours i went to the hospital. and i bet you don't:
they removed the bands and said my p. did not need to be removed.
It was a little dark and bled and the skin fell off (not completely but the outer part) from the freezing but it wasn't dead.
They send me into a closed mental hospital, kind of a prison.
then one week ago the urologists decided that my p. should be removed, becourse it turned dark.
Now i don't have a p and i am happy, they released me from the mental hospital.
btw i had no pains from it from beginning till now i never took any painkillers, i guess the ethanol killed the nerves.
So any of you who are on the way:
plan ahead,
don't go too soon to the hospital, and of course you need to have a good explanation, you may end up in mental hospital,
seek good instructions with many sources, because you are playing with fire
don't remove the bands yourself
have a nice day!

OMG
That is one traumatic experience. My heart gos out to you in such a big way for such abuse by the authorities.
While it's one thing to deny treatment/help, but to imprison and treat like an insane person is the absolute absurdity
of thinking, modern or antiquated. The emotional damage forced upon you is just beyond anything I can believe.
You have every wish and hope that is within me on getting over those emotional scars society just embedded in you
forever.

Many of us have had to go through similar trauma and heartache. Glad you made it through the ordeal. Your path is similar to many eunuchs and nullo's. It's never easy to have something removed that you don't want or don't need or dislike. Medical professionals can't understand us. Things are changing and for the better. I do believe that over the next few years more doctors like Dr. Arnkoff will help our community allowing for easier medical penectomies.
Be aware that you'll start to forget that you had a penis after a few days/weeks. That's very normal. Most men who are penectomized forget what it was like to have a penis. It's an odd but welcomed phenomenon. Thanks for sharing and please continue to share. Did the doctor's remove just the external part of your penis or more? Did they make a reroute for you?

This truly demonstrates how reluctant doctors are to remove any body organ or tissue despite how badly damaged the presented condition.
It will truly be wonderful when a person can freely make a decision when it stays and when it goes!

Sorry you had to go through so much but glad it turned out well in the end! As others have said too bad it is as hard as it is resulting in use of methods so many of us end up using.

it sounds like you got poor treatment in general aside from the completely unessissery forced mental hospital. they should have been able to tell it needed to be removed the first time. you could have gotten an infection or worst. They cared more about shipping you off to a mental hospital then actually treating you.

in 2017, after a half marathon, I decided it was time to do something drastic! I had an elastrator and some topical aneasthetic so I tide of my penis after inserting a bit of plastic pipe in the end of my penis, tied it off, then put 3 elastrator rings behind the head of my penis. after a day the head went completely black so I cut it off ! No pain

after a couple of months, waiting, it still hadn't healed properly so Checked into hospital and ended up 3 months later with a catheter to allow corrective surgery to heal, I lost half of my penis ! and it seems to be shrinking due to reduced sensitivity, and far too short to successfully pee standing, but thats a bonus.
I am hoping to go for Urethral re-route (perineal Urethrostomy) soon through doctor, then once healed will push for full penectomy, but may have to do this with the elastrator option.
I had tried ethanol testicle injections for about 6 months in the past with not much difference, but Since then, I injected CaCl+ethanol 0.6ml in each nut.. Wow it has swelled massively poss 2.5 times original size and nuts hard and and very uncomfortable, but not too painful.
Very early days yet, Ibuprofen is working well to reduce pain and swelling, but not sure how soon I'll see results. I may have to inject again, but will try a T check-up soon..

@Chancellor
First, I'm very glad you achieved your goal. Doctors are trained to save lives, save body parts, and make people "normal". When a boy is born with hypospadias (a birth defect where the "pee hole" is down on the shaft of the penis, surgeons will put him through hellish multiple surgeries to move the pee hole to the top of the penis so he can urinate standing up. Most men who've been through this say they are often left with a partially numb or painful penis and would rather have had to pee sitting down.
Next, is safety first. Although I'm glad it all worked out for you, I'd advise anyone considering your approach to think it over.
Your banding method left you no way to void your bladder. Having a bladder that is overfull can cause serious medical issues. First, it can cause a reflex reaction that will raise the blood pressure to dangerously high levels. Next, it can backup urine into the kidneys and damage them.
Also, I'm 100% against injecting anything into the penis or testicles. I know people on here report about injecting alcohol into their testicles all the time and with various results. To be clear, injecting alcohol into the testicles is not the same thing as an injection into a muscle to deliver medication designed for chemical castration.
If anyone is considering your approach, I would recommend at least the following safety precautions:
1. Have a friend or family member with you. It would be best if they knew what you were doing. Even if they did not know about the banding, they would be able to call for help if something went really wrong and you were unable to call for help.
2. Seriously keep sepsis in mind. Sepsis is a whole-body infection that can come from anywhere in the body. Even a tiny cut can cause sepsis. Having a body part that is without a blood supply for that long could cause it to get infected. If you change your mind and cut off the bands the infection can quickly move to the rest of your body. Even if you don't cut off the bands, the infection can move to the rest of the body. Once it's started sepsis requires emergency treatment.
3. Therapy ahead of time is a good idea. Even if you know the therapy will not lead to a doctor being willing to remove your penis (or testicles), having a current therapist could spare you the 3 or 4 day lockdown in the mental hospital. The therapist might not agree with your decision but, they can at least let the doctors know your only goal was the removal of your penis. Since you'd have no more penises to get removed, you're not very likely to hurt yourself again.
This method worked for you and I really am glad. I can't imagine how horrible it would be to want such a simple thing done and yet to have doctors refuse to do it because it's not "normal". Then, the same doctor will only remove the penis after you've endangered your life to cut off blood supply.
It amazes me that a man can walk into any urologist's office and ask to have his foreskin removed and the only question they will have is, "what day would you like to schedule the amputation of your foreskin".
