So I was listening to the radio which had on one of those syndicated lady DJs. She had a short bit about stupids things people had done. One was about some guy in England (?) who bet his parts of his anatomy on a soccer game. His team lost 11-9. He went home from the bar, cut off his 'man parts' and put them in a bag to take back to the bar to show he'd kept his bet. The people at the bar put them on ice and rushed him to the hospital where he is in serious condition.
That was the story. No indication if recent or ancient history or what. I searched for it and got nothing.

This is an old story, and went around here years ago when it happened. Though I think the narrative has changed a bit from the time the event happened to now. I believe the original story was he said something like, "I my team loses I'll cut my balls off", and when they lost, he did it.
