Hi everyone,

I've been hanging around this forum on and off for a year or so now, so I want to introduce myself as the need for CC has become very real.

I'm in my mid-thirties, and while I love sex, my sex drive has always been on for the past 17 years and I can't take it anymore; I'm often hypersexual to the point it interferes with my social life, my job and my relationships - I believe emancipation from sex would benefit me.

In addition to hypersexuality - most likely part of - I have ADHD (mainly inattentive) with comorbid Bipolar II. The bipolar part isn't officially diagnosed but my doc says she suspects it's very possible due to some of my actions and response to certain medications. Luckily, I live in a country with an awesome health care system and two very understanding doctors.

I have a long term girlfriend of two years - my longest relationship by far. I don't provide her with the intimacy she needs and deserves. I did at first, but over the past year my hypersexuality has become such an issue that I can't. Part of me wonders if this is due to a lack of attraction, but I love my girlfriend dearly and I wish I could be more intimate with her.

I'm on this site because I need support and want to offer support too. I will need to do this chemical castration alone because while my doctors are great, confidentiality laws are not often followed. I fear this could lead to me losing my job. My friend's boss once called the hospital to check why he wasn't at work- she never believed him - and the nurse divulged everything which in many countries would be strictly forbidden.

That's me in a basic sense. It's nice to meet everyone here and I hope to see you around.
