As of a few minutes ago 906 people have completed the new survey. The survey has now been on line for nearly 6 months and we will need to close it and begin analyzing the results soon. The previous survey had 3,089 responses when we closed it after 6 months. Every response helps us to understand the community here and to better be able to explain it to the medical community. Our goal is to help.

The current survey is to fill in some holes that we discovered in our analysis of the previous survey. There are questions that we didn't think to even ask until they were brought up by those completing the survey when we asked, "Is there anything that you think we should have asked, but didn't?" We've asked the same question again this time, though we haven't begun to look at or analyze any of the responses yet, so we don't know what we missed this time around.

If you haven't completed the survey yet, please do so. Our goal is to help the entire community, from those here for the fantasy of the fiction archive to those seeking castration, to those who have completed their journey. Please let others know about the survey as well.

That is cool that the survey site tells you if you have already filled out the survey. I thought I had filled it out but couldn't remember if I had.

I started the survey a while back... but my internet fritzed out and I wasn't able to complete it. I backburnered it... then forgot. Completed it today though.

We got a nice burst of activity when this thread was first posted, but we're back down to a completed survey about once every two or three days. The current number is 951 completed surveys. We'd really like to break 1000 before we close it down and begin our analysis. If you haven't taken it yet, please consider doing so.

Just took the survey. Where can we find the results?

The survey is now at 985 completed responses. We expect to close it to new responses in early June. Our team's statistical expert is currently visiting family in Vietnam and will return then. There is no reason to close the survey before we can begin serious work on it. We would also like to break the 1000 response barrier, which would be a great help in getting proper attention for our results.

Here's the current breakdown of responses:

Surgically castrated - both testicles have been removed and are no longer present: 112 (11.37%)

Physically castrated - both testicles have been destroyed, but remnants are still present. Use of burdizzo, injections of alcohol, etc. to destroy them: 43 (4.37%)

Chemically castrated - currently using 'reversible' chemical castrating drugs such as Lupron, Androcur, estrogen, etc.: 35 (3.55%)

Formerly chemically castrated - previously used chemically castrating drugs, but no longer do: 35 (3.55%)

Penectomized - penis has been removed, but testicles are still present: 12 (1.22%)

Nullified - both penis and testicles have been removed: 18 (1.83%)

Wannabe - would like to be castrated and/or searching for way to be castrated: 297 (30.15%)

Fantasy - get sexual pleasure from thinking about castration or for 'play castration': 369 (37.46%)

Academic interest - have no interest in being castrated yourself, but interested in the topic: 64 (6.50%)

If you are reading this and haven't completed the survey yet, now would be a good time to do so. All results from all of the categories are valuable information.
