Hi
Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully reply to my concerns.
I have been taking 50mg of Androcur and 5mg Finasteride daily for the past 6 months and I want to know if I should increase the dose.
My symptons seem to be as per what is expected I think this is where advice is needed please.
I dont get unwanted erections but can get almost hard with stimulation and hard engough for full sex with partner, libdo has dropped, ejeculation is just a clear sticky fluid and just a dribble no force or shooting, still suffering from PE and cum very quickly was hoping the meds would help with this, have some penis shrinkage but no shrinkage of testes.
I am also putting on weight which I am trying to stop and loose a few pounds.
Also find that I am getting more loving towards my partner and find I cry easy which I never did before.
Am I taking the right dosage or should I increase or decrease the dose?
Any help would be great and and advice from people that also take it and what symptons, effects etc they get.
Many Thanks

If you have low T and your testes are not working anymore, they should shrink over time.
Could be 50mg is to low dose! You should make a test of your Testo level to know more about best dosage!

Thanks for the reply I started on 100mg of Androcur for the first month then lowered it to 50mg and 5mg of Finasteride as was told that these 2 drugs together should kill any Testorone.

You NEED to get tested for hormone levels and proceed accordingly. Messing around with hormones is a tricky business and can be deadly. That's why there is a medical specialty just for handling hormones that is known as Endocrinology.

I started off at 50mg/day myself, IMO it is a fine dosage but I also think it takes a while for the balls to shrink a considerable amount. I also started it after using spironolactone for a while, so I'm unsure how I'd have reacted starting off on it with nothing having been done prior. Now I am at 12.5mg/day and it seems to be working just as well as 25mg/day was but I have yet to re-test my testosterone levels at this dosage. I lowered it fairly recently and I'm going to wait until I either get symptoms of rising testosterone or two months have passed to do a blood test.
At my current point if I do orgasm (rare) it takes a while and usually nothing comes out, but sometimes I get a drop or two of clear watery fluid.
I never get spontaneous erections and they are difficult to obtain, and orgasm is difficult to reach. My penis also tends not to get fully hard. Balls have shrunken a massive amount, and my penis has shrunken a good deal but it has been years since I started taking anti-androgens. I used to have huge balls, now they are tiny.
I agree with zeebster and jojo that getting a blood test for hormone levels would be a good idea. Without one, it's hard to know for sure where you're sitting at in regards to testosterone. Occasionally I pay for blood tests through privatemdlabs, and it isn't expensive at all, but I'm not sure what one would have to do to get a testosterone level check in the UK. Getting your liver enzymes checked on cyproterone wouldn't be a bad idea either.
It sounds like it might be working on you, from what you describe. The changes it brings on can come slowly, have you been consistently in your current state for a while, or have the symptoms been increasing over time?
In regards to erections, libido and all that: everyone is different. Two people could have equally nuked testosterone levels and still have very different libidos.

Hi, horny_lynne, Don't know much about your libido issues, but can I ask you if you have any noticeable breast development on your regimen?. I also take finasteride and want to start cypro but afraid of getting gynecomastia. Sorry If I'm overstepping my boundaries here.

Hello Prismatic
Thank you so much for wonderful reply and advice.
I going to book a doctor and get my levels checked I know that 5 months ago when I had some blood tests done one of them was T and my doctor stated it was low but I cant remember what the figure was.
How long did it take roughly for you to notice the shrinkage in your balls as I have not noticed anything apart from penis shinkage and I wear a small chastity cage which is only 32mm long and I can now fit into it when fully soft and shrivelled.
I can still erections when with my partner in fact its quite easy when with her but differcult to do myself in the shower or when playing with it, GOD how i wish my orgasm were hard to reach and so would my lover.
My symptons took a while to notice but they are consistent atm and wish they speed along a bit faster but I know it all takes time.
Look forward to anymore advice and guideunce.
