Castration UK

Hi,

This is aimed more at readers from the UK.

I am a 58 year old married male. I live in the UK. I wish to be surgically castrated and have my scrotum removed, and then be placed on Hormone Replacement Therapy to replace the testosterone and thus remain male.

I have no gender identity issues and wish to remain male and I am not into self-harming and all that. I just would rather not have my testicles and scrotum any more.

My wife is fully supportive in this and says really all it is is a male equivalent of a hysterectomy.

So (for the UK readers), I have booked an appointment with my GP for next week. How/what do I have to say in order to get my GP to refer me to a urologist and in turn get the urologist to agree to do it, on the NHS.

Thanks

Ain't going to happen mate.

The Hippocratic oath sort of gets in the way.

You will not find a surgeon willing to cut away healthy tissue and leave you on HRT for the rest of your life.

As you don't have a gender identity problem then you can't go down the "Trans" route.

This leaves damaging them through self harm and presenting yourself to the quack saying your nuts don't feel right.

I have a similar problem and have not found a way around it.

If your doc books you in to get done then let me know the address:D

Try out TRT before you go to castrate you. Not everybody like the effects on TRT so is a test a good idea!

For pushing a castration is in other threads the ethanol injection route one opportunity.

There is a website explaining self castration & how to go about it. I wont name the site as I am not sure how serious the guy is about the method he suggests; my suspicion is it is his idea to go about it & that he has not actually done it himself. I did consider his method but on second thoughts decided not to go ahead

We've had several folks post on this site from the UK asking how to get it done on the NHS. Sadly, none have found a successful route that I know of. If you are at a point you could afford airfare to the US, there is a doctor here in a city with a major airport that performs castration no questions asked. Right now I see you could do this for about £3250 air fare and doctors fee (airfare calculated from London June 14 to the following Wednesday). You'd probably want to stay in the US for about a week, and the number I quote above does not include hotel, food, or local transportation.

That said this cost could be less in fall or spring for transportation and lodging, but I do not know the doctors availability.

I think you may mean anti androgen's (Androcur or Depo provera) as these will lower your hormones to castrate levels and you can always bail if you don't like the effects.

Testosterone will make you feel wired and horny for a while until your natural production shuts down so you may get a false impression of the effects.

I have tried banding but I find it difficult to band my testicles without my penis as it seems to be in the way

Use yarn/string not to thin will cut into skin. But I'd wrap around scrotum and cinch tight, scrotum will turn purple go numb and you can attempt to tighten more for a while . But this is much dangers with doing this way. Best to go Dr. Have removed

Might be costly money wise but at least not paying with your life.
