Dave craps in BATMAN V SUPERMAN but not Wonder Woman (wink, wink)

Too much plot for the movie and for a long movie, too much to explain.
Lots of noisy action sequences -- car chase, fights, nuclear explosions, lightning... shit like that
The first part of this version of Superman and Batman that the viewer has to understand is that it takes place contemporarily with MAN OF STEEL (the Henry Cavill Superman movie). The two movies are linked. Man of Steel took place in Metropolis but the visiting BATMAN from Gotham is there in the city and sees the destruction of that final battle. This starts with the destruction of the WORLD ENGINE. The destruction haunts him.
Also note that Batman (Ben Affleck) has visions first one is of his childhood. Watch these visions carefully, two of the visions are from the future and foretell or foreshadow events in the next movie. (yes, I think it is sort of stupid to do that) In one of the visions, Batman receives a message from the future about Lois from The Flash. In another vision Batman sees the destruction of the earth by Darkseide (Who? the villain of the next movie. I said it was stupid) Also the picture Lex Luthor has hanging upside-down is a premonition of Darkseide. That's why Lex says at times "they are coming" in fear. Now back to the immediate story.
HOWEVER, the story revolves around Lex Luthor and not about Batman or Superman. Lex Luthor is the least explained character. He just seems goofy. As far as I can piece together from reviews and interviews -- Lex's father was abusive both physically and sexually, apparently. Lex is a very disturbed child... Oh, they didn't make the movie so it explains that the story revolves around Lex Luthor.
Sigh!
Society is unsure if having an indestructible savior like Superman is good. Lex uses those doubts and the amazingly awful destruction of Metropolis during the climatic battles of MAN OF STEEL to create a plot for his own good. Remember, hes psychotic but not stupid. That's the tension of the movie -- is Superman really good for Earth? MAN OF STEEL never answered that question.
Luther feeds the paranoia. However, as messed up as he is, he has dabbled in the alien technology and he discovers that there are more aliens out there. Why? Because, the WORLD ENGINE revealed the earth to the rest of the galaxy. Superman being able to destroy the WORLD ENGINE was a red flag that no alien should mess with the earth. After all, Superman is indestructible.
When Lex Luthors plot destroys half the US Capital (or so it looks like the Capital Building) and results in Superman being blamed. All hell breaks lose.
Batman takes it on himself to destroy Superman and finds Krptonite. The finding of Kryptonite is also seen in tidbits from the start of the movie. He almost succeeds but Lex Luthor releases something created in the Krypton Birthing Chamber and they have to kill the or it will destroy the world.
Wonder Woman has been wandering through the movie pestering Bruce Wayne and she shows up Batman, Superman, and the Military at the point she appears with brackets and shield, sword and lasso. But the story didn't prepare the watcher of see that and appreciate it. That part of the story lost its impact thanks to the poor writing. Shes really spectacularly powerful.
In order to kill the beastly thing, Superman sacrifices himself because the creature is half-Kryptonian and nearly indestructible SO the movie ends with Supermans Funeral
Now how does that fit into 159 minutes. Not well. Not good.
Confusing as crap
