A funny animated movie about food in the supermarket with vulgarity and profanity... lots...

It's like a drug trip, several drug trips. Marijuana and Bath Salts figure into the plot.

It begins with the supermarket opening and all the products singing about how wonderful it is to be bought by the Gods (humans) and taken to a wonderful life in the great beyond outside the store. Honey Mustard gets returned

I thought that was weird.

Then the hot dog (sausage) got sexy with a bun and talked dirty -- explicit sexually dirty.

Then the sausage and bun escape the cart and they travel to the space between the shelves and meet Firewater and his cronies. THere's a cooking scene that is hysterical with a potato singing "Danny Boy" ...

Also, a douche fell out of the cart and is determined to kill them. Yes, it's a talking douche.

Yes, there's a lesbian taco.

Yes, there's every ethnicity of product in the store including the imported stuff.

And after lots and lots of strife, swearing, and sexual innuendo ... There's an orgy.

Also, a revolution where the food kills several gods (humans) in bizarre ways. One way being an ax.

Another way being Mentos and Soda Pop...

Don't be put off, just don't be easily offended by every crude joke imaginable with food

having sex with food... I mean to tell you that orgy even has fireworks.

Even the TP talks.

I watched it a second time last night ...

sigh ... it's silliness and childishness. Vulgar teenage humor raised to Academy Awards heights.

My biggest problem with it is that in every place that it could have gone into magnificent social satire or pathetic puerile humor, it chose the latter.

Still, it is funny...
