I have just seen the latest remake of this and the jury is out as to whether this is better than the 1970's version. Don't get me wrong,I really liked this film and found it great entertainment But...err..
Well Meatloaf playing Eddie was such a great performance in the 1970's one and the "Creation" had a better more defined body but that's a matter of opinion I know.
I am leaning towards the 1970's one myself any thoughts ?

Re: Rocky Horror Picture Show Remake
Personally, I do prefer the original (UK version). Part of the problem to me was the interruptions by commercials which destroyed the flow of the movie. I would have liked to see it broadcast once without commercials. I love Laverne Cox and I think she did a great job with the singing (yes that was her). Did anyone notice during the Time Warp there were LGBT rainbow over the fireplace. It wasn't the rainbow flag but more like lights.

Ummm, back in the day...
Midnight movies, theaters in general, VHS, and now DVD and Blu-Ray ... which don't have interruptions.

Back in the day? Wow, Paolo is a lot older than I thought. He must be almost as ancient as Kristoff

Sieze the opportunity to go when it is there and just enjoy. I don't worry which is the best version.

I like the new version. I like the old version. I take them each on it's own merit without undue comparisons. --FLO--

True its a good harmless bit of fun and if I had a copy of the new one on DVD or Betamax I would add it to my playlist every now and then:).
