Pahrump update

Just a quick update on the goings ons in my favorite town.
Raymond Mann was arrested for shooting at his cousin and then taking a baseball bat to his cousin's roommate.
Bryce Weirauch-Caromano was charged with walking drunk.
Dean Donte Lee caused a disturbance at a convenience store when trying to buy alcohol while drunk. They called 911 and he left, but his car was spotted by police and they gave chase. He hit speeds of up to 80 mpg while making illegal maneuvers including zipping thru the parking lot of the store where he tried to buy alcohol. He ended up in somebody's front yard where he was arrested.
Andrew John Holmgren was arrested after police found his wife at their home in a hospital gown with dried blood on her face and arms and some of her hair pulled out. Separately, he has been charged with abuse of an older person.
The Nye County clerk said that "rigged elections have never happened her and are not going to happen."
There are two candidates for the NV state assembly: Republican James Oscarson and Libertarian Dennis Hof. Campaign reports show Oscarson has raised $88,500 while Hof has raised $50,106 from two donors (one being himself). He contributed $50,000 to his own campaign. "I cannot be bought,: Hof claims. Hof separately is involved in a kerfluffle about where he lives. He has a couple of houses in Nevada including a double wide next to his bordello out in the desert, where he says that he spends most of his time. Hof also owns a home in Lake Tahoe and a luxury home in the forest near Carson City which was recently lost when a controlled burn got out of control. House guests: ex-Nevada GOP chair Chuck Muth, Republican Assemblywoman Michele Fiore and Libertarian assemblyman John Moore, were all evacuated. The Pahrump paper also carries Chuck Muth's column, "Muth's Truths" which began, "Despite his obvious and overwhelming win in the third and final debate between Donald Trump and Crooked Hillary......."
Wanting to share some of the glory, the town of Beatty decided to set off some left-over fireworks to celebrate touchdowns at the homecoming games. Some of the fireworks went off on the ground and set a fire in a ravine where people had dumped yard clippings for years. They even got a sanitation district backhoe to stir up the ground and thought they had it out, but by 11:30 pm the fire was back bigger than ever. Then at the homecoming dance a hotdog cooker caught fire and nobody had the keys to turn if off. The alarm went off, a metal fire door came crashing down and everybody had to evacuate. Now that was a homecoming to remember.
