I believe there a few herbal testosterone precursors out there.

Tribulus terrestris (Goat heads) being one of them.

However testosterone precursors only boost what you body can produce and wont help much post surgery.

Ambiguous is correct, Tribulus works well if you still have testicles, it'll make your testicles produce more testosterone. As for other herbal testosterone options, I doubt that any will boost your testosterone sufficiently enough to restore any sexual feelings or even to ward off osteoporosis, which is a real problem for castrated men. Herbal companies make a lot of claims, but they're not regulated by the FDA, so you can waste a lot of money on them with no results. Some herbs are beneficial for different bodily ailments, but none are really effective in producing enough testosterone in your body to actually raise your testosterone levels to a sufficient level. Don't waste your money like I did. You can get a more natural form of testosterone called "compounded testosterone" from Apothcary's/Drug Stores. https://empower.pharmacy/drugs/testosterone-cream.html This form of testosterone is said to be better or less likely to cause problems in castrated men, but I really don't know if that's true. It does work, I used it for years and it was cheaper than big pharma testosterone replacement gels. The VA won't pay for it anymore so i'm stuck with pharmaceutical gel, don't know if I should mention the name brand.

If you stop using testosterone altogether, your bones will become more brittle and lead to breaking more easily. This is why a lot of elderly women are now using testosterone rather than estrogen. Testosterone used in older women strengthens their bones more than additional estrogen. http://www.lotusobgyn.com/7-reasons-why ... tosterone/

Thank you for the comments and compound and article links.

The comments confirmed that which I figured is the case, that herbs only "supplement" that which the body may or may not produce, and testicles are necessary to enhance testosterone production.

From my internet research, it appears that some herbs that may supplement testosterone production, may aid in castration challenges like depression and/or brain fog reduction, yet as noted, do the herbal supplements produce the results the manufacturers claim, as a vast majority do not provide a therapeutic level sufficient to produce the desired results.

I had the thought of a compounded therapy option, and there is a local doctor who specializes in such male and female therapies, along with a compounding pharmacy. An option I will explore further.
