This has been out for a bit but has slipped under the radar of most folks over here.

This is sad as it a pretty damned good film.

Its a bit Leftfield but just go where the it takes you.

I don't want to say more for fear of spoiling the experiance..:D

Just ... no

Who in their right mind could come up with the idea for a film about using a corpse as a Swiss army knife?!

Yea okay err .... (I'm buffering)..I felt a bit uneasy about where this was going to take me at first, but after 20 minutes or so went with it.

Both the castaway and the corpse need to arrive at a final destination and an uneasy bond between the two is made.

The subject matter seems wrong on all counts but with the "Walkng dead" grinding into its 7th season prehaps it ain't all that bad.

Added, a few hours later: Consider the narrator of the story to be unreliable.

Original comment:

This is really a strange and different movie. Just don't overthink it. It is possible to try to read too much into this.

Remember that all of the story is told from the Point of View of Hank (Paul Dano) and Manny's life (Daniel Radcliffe) is Hank's invention.
