Do you have access to a car? Take the 6 hour drive up to San Francisco. 3 surgeons there willing and able to castrate you if you have the letter.

Sorry for the lateness of my reply, I was out of town this weekend.

What I would do is get the therapist letter. When I was seeking that on the way to completing my nullification (I'm aware you're only after your balls), it was the minor of all the costs involved. I'd look for someone that works with gender non-conforming people, who is not themselves transgendered. I suppose all could be open, but I found those who transitioned fully from Male-to-female (or vice-versa) couldn't seem to break out of the gender binary, which is the area where you and I fit.

Once you get that letter, the doctors would be willing to schedule you for orchiectomy. Keep in mind they work with Gender non-conforming folks regularly, so their surgery schedules may have a long lead time, but it is a legitimate route.

Was disappointed that Brownstein & Crane require THREE letters for orchiectomy. And don't work with medicare / medicaid as others had told me. Its no wonder so many men still go to cutters when the system makes it so hard to get a simple orchiectomy.

Three? Call 'em up and ask again. Full SRS only requires 2, it would seem odd to require more letters for people who have an easier transition. Do you have supplemental insurance? You live in California... California requires coverage by insurance companies of gender non-conforming issues.

If you don't mind me asking, can you tell us (or at least tell me) which online therapist you talked with?

Also, what about flying over to Michigan and getting Dr. Marc Arnkoff to perform your orchiectomy? Indeed, doesn't Dr. Arnkoff (still) peform orchiectomies without any therapist letters?

Frankly, what I am wondering is this--do they require three therapist letters for both aspiring eunuchs and trans-women in regards to (getting an) orchiectomy or only to aspiring eunuchs?

How exactly is a poor aspiring eunuch actually supposed to have the money to acquire three therapist letters for this, though?

Indeed, don't many transgender-friendly therapists not accept insurance?

I'm going to be blunt, if you can't afford the sessions for a therapist letter (or letters) you won't be able to afford the surgery.

And wanting to know if someone can remove the entire vas instead of a section tells me you need to go back and read a detailed description, with pictures, of that part of the male anatomy. Please go educate yourself, ask a better question, and I'll reply with a less flippant answer.
