I want to remove my testicles and scrotum. I can't afford the effort it takes to get a proper job done. I am 62, now a-sexual, and want to get all the mess out of my way and my life and also want to loose all thoughts of sexuality. Can anyone who has had it performed describe the procedure, time length for the recovery, and pain level? Thank you.

Others here are more qualified to give you details than I am, but I wanted to answer in case nobody else does. I have no direct experience to lean on here, but I've been around the EA for some five years or so, and I believe the consensus is that if you can't afford to do it right, you can't afford to band, because it will be more expensive to clean up the mess you've made of yourself than to get it done right the first time.

If you want to destroy your testicles on the cheap, there are other ways that are less problematic, notably injections. There is a really long thread here with all you could hope to know about that. There is also information here on ways to shut your testicles down without destroying them. Do your homework before you dive into anything like this. You'll save money and pain in the long run.

Thank you for the information. I am going to get on my soap box a moment. M.D.'s will gut a woman at the drop of a hat, needed or not. An old guy like me who doesn't want to be a woman, just wants to be finished with the physical a mental problems has to spend a fortune, leave the country, and prove some kind of mental competence just to get his junk out of the way. Sick and twisted system.

I had tried banding, but could not get past the pain. I tried alcohol injections, but found that If you are not real careful, you can get drunk from the intravenous alcohol injection. When I thought about other types of injections, i decided that they could go intravenous also and I could have serious side effects that I did not whant.

I finally complained to my primary doctor about chronic testicular pain since a vasectomy 20 years before. He referred my to a Urologist, who performed tests, then a nerve block. After the nerve block I told him that I had no pain at first, but it was coming back. I also told him that I had not realized how much pain that I had on the other side until the block. I told him that I was tired of the pain and all of the tests. I asked him if he could just cut them off. I had a a bilateral orchiectomy about 4 weeks later. It was the best thing I ever did.

Thank you. I had a vasectomy when I was about 37. I wish I could find a sympathetic Urologist and the money. I have read many posts throughout the forum, this is no put down, but I have found that this is not sexual for me, unless asexual. I have no thrill, or anticipate a sexual rush. I just want the mess completely out of my way physically and mentally.

Getting back to the original post.

I have tried banding and clamping in the past and both procedures have ended up with the desire to throw up ,hot and cold sweats after about 15 - 20 mins.

I am currently thinking each banding session does a certain ammount of perminant damage.

The only thing is this damage may not be all that aparrent.

Say if after each banding your sperm and T level fell by say 2pc are you realy going to notice it?

Do it 49 more times and I guess you may... but this may be years from the time your first banding session.

I just thought I would put this theory out there to see how others feel.

As someone with chronic testicular pain, the only reason I'm here is for medical advice, not recreational advice.

The only connection to sex - for me, at least - is the fact that, yes, this is a sex organ we're discussing… and currently it hurts too

Sounds plausible enough to me, based on anecdotal reports I've heard.
