It is getting to be that time of year when I ask for contributions to keep these boards running. We don’t have a great deal of expense – monthly server charges and PO Box rental and a small monthly bank service charge , as well as software and licensing and domain fees. This board, the personals, and the story archive survive only because of volunteer help and your donations.

We are a charitable educational corporation based in Minnesota, USA, and contributions are fully deductible. We would like to see a wide base of members contribute, as opposed to the same 15 or so that we always rely on. It is your board, support it if you want to keep it here. We take all size of contributions - $10, $20, $50, $100. If you can afford it, that is the right amount.

Remember, between the forums and the fiction archive, we get over 20 million hits a month. That is lots of bandwidth. We run on 7 virtual servers - they cost us over $108 per month. Add to that the costs of domains, server software licensing, vb licenses. postal box rental. There are other items that add in. Often times Talula or I will cover them, but the majority must come from the people who use this site or it will not be here.
