Looking for some general advice, I have long held a fantasy of having a virtual penectomy, which I have heard could be achieved by a Dorsal Neurectomy AND having permanent priapism.

Basically the idea is that my cock would become a dildo, leaving me horny and frustrated, hard but unable to do anything about it.

So the questions for you folks

- Is there anywhere you know of that's more appropriate given the no castration element?

- Do you know if this is possible?

- can a neurectomy realty result in no sensation?

- is it possible to get a permanent hardon?

- if that involves implants, would they feel normal?

- I heard there is a gland that secretes a hormone which decreases libido after long periods of denial, is this true, what's it called, can it safely be removed?

I'm not sure I'll ever do it, the surgery is scary, I've never had an operation of any kind, but I certainly won't until i know more about what is be looking at.

I don't know all the answers you seek, but I would like to suggest that you do some research on priapism, as it can lead to complications you probably don't want. The following is from Wikipedia:

"Because ischemic priapism causes the blood to remain in the penis for unusually long periods of time, the blood becomes deprived of oxygen and can cause damage to the penile tissue itself. Should the penile tissue become damaged, it can further result in erectile dysfunction or disfigurement of the penis.[11] In extreme cases, if the penis suffers from severe vascular disease, the priapism can result in penile gangrene."

As for being left perpetually horny with a numb penis, I can say that my hubby, who has working testicles and no penis, does get horny, but it's not perpetual. And, yes, he does find it frustrating at times. If you end up with a permanent priaprism, you'll end up with a surgery, namely penectomy.

I've yet to figure out why there is a group of men that thinks that severing a nerve somewhere, usually at the base of the penis, will give them a life of frustrated lack of orgasmic ability, bliss. Nullos should be proof of that. We've essentially severed the same nerve, at the same place and it's rare to hear that we're not able to have orgasms. Popular thought/culture gets that one wrong, just because you lose a cock (or in your case, completely desensitize it) doesn't mean you'll never be able to have another orgasm.

I also think that gland you're looking to remove is a unicorn.
