Yahoo email

I am having problems with some Yahoo emails not getting thru. Not all, but some.
It might be my newish laptop. It is a Lenova. I got it because it was one I could get Windows 7 on it and not Windows 10. But when I go to MSN I get two screens. One MSN. One MSN by Lenova. I have learned the latter doesn't work very well and often ends up freezing the computer, so I usually X out of it at the start. Things seem to work better going thru Google to my Yahoo email.
I have Webroot and Malwarebytes.
So, anybody else having problems with Yahoo?

I have lots of problems with Yahoo, and now they've screwed up their messenger too. looking for something else. Windows 10 ain't that bad. I finally put all ours on 10. They work fine.

Over the years I have noticed Yahoo Mail may "blip out"
when they are retooling their system.
It seem to correct after a week, or so.

always have had issues with Yahoo. now that they have totally rendered Yahoo messenger useless I am totally avoiding all things Yahoo. deleting all things Yahoo. It is no wonder they were broken and had to sell themselves to Verizon, which if I read correctly is the only offer they had since they suck so much.

Moi, I think you were right on this one. I have bracketed the lost emails to a couple of days in July. It seems to have corrected since then. Now that you mentioned it, I do remember the same problem a couple of years ago which resolved itself just before I was ready to quit Yahoo.
I agree with you kristoff and baldwin. Just hate to give up an email address that I have had for probably two decades. I keep thinking some old friend might get in touch.

Yahoo is also throwing video at you in the inbox, spam folder, and trash now, once emptied. It seems that you cannot get to your mail in a timely manner due to all the video spam. I'm just about ready to give up mine, too, which I've had since 1997. Messenger is deplorable as well - all the features have been removed, and you can't even tell if anyone is online or not. Just a big mess best walked away from.

I gave up on yahoo when they took messenger away from Mac. I closed down my e-mails and gave 'em the 'ole middle finger.

Which brings up a question. The old messenger was good for occassionally running across an interesting person. Is there anything similar now?
