Just a note to let everyone know that I have another exam on Thursday Morning. At this exam the Doc is going to prescribe me going to a cancer Doc who removes testicles. If this is what happens then I will have my operation. My insurance will then cover it and then I will visit Dr. Spector to have his associate remove my sac too. If Dr. Spector will Help me to get the Medical Insurance becasue after all this was an injury caused by a Mistress..... then I will travel to Philly and he will do all of it. I like and want the ladder!!

Good luck with the doctor on thrusday, I hope you get your dream and have them removed.

Dr Spector, dont bother with him, contact Dr Kimmel direct. Spector may forget to tell Kimmel you are comming. Dr Kimmel's number and fax are at the bottom of all of my posts.

Now for the bad news, unless your insurance says you need the sac removed and will pay for it, Dr Kimmel I think charges $1400 for just the sac, call and make sure. Sense I had both done at the same time it was a little cheaper.

Pain, during surgery none, after not much as I was on drugs and lots of ice the first two days. Each day has gotten better so today I went back to work 9/6 castration 9/23 back to work, after half a day today they sent me home. I have been in a lot of pain sense noon, feels like being kicked in the nuts. You know its bad when the big boss has someone walk you to your car. I am not heading for my recliner for the rest of the evening and seeing my doctor tomorrow. I will keep you informed.

Dear Riverwind: It seems from this end anyway that this hurts and takes alot of time to heal. Im a slow healer and if there are going to be any complications they seem to happen to me. Besides that after I see the doc I will know what he wants to do. I may opt for the doctor that treats Cancer patients here to just castrate me. Then I would go to Philly and pay for Kimmel to remove the sac. Is there anyway to email Kimmel. I wrote Spector a very long letter with questions etc. and no reply. Will Dr. Kimmel help you file insurance forms???? Anybody who has information on insurance accedints and castration please let me know. My testicles are dead and I know that they have to go. Please respond asap. I am at a different computer this week and you can respond to jjfmiller412aol.com. I will continue to post here and keep everyone up to date on my progress. If the castration is medically necessary and covered by insurance, the doctor will be in agreement with the removal. He will also know that the sac is no longer required and might remove it at the same time and bill you if your insurance doesn't cover it. Ask him, the worst he can say is no. It may prevent you needing an additional surgery.

That is a good idea! I want to have the sac removed also. It will serve no purpose anyway and I would like that done also. Im going to see what my Doc has in mind and his concerns and thoughts on Thursday. Then Ill have a better handle on it. I will post as soon as I know something...
