Hi everyone,

I'm so happy I can find a forum like this to discuss with all of you. I'm 25 years old and I have been wishing to be an eunuch since I was 8.

I'm from China and currently living in Canada. But I can't make up my mind to get castrated because of our traditional culture. Chinese culture stress too much on having offsprings and I'm the only child of my parents. If I made up my mind and got castrated, I wouldn't be able to face them ever after.

Anyone facing the same stress from family? I hope we could talk about it.

There is a possible way that you can achieve castration and still fulfill your family obligations regarding offspring. You can bank sperm for later and then get castrated.

I had a look at your profile and I gather from the above post that they in all probability are not aware of your being gay, which in any case would make it very unlikely that you would father children anyway. I do hope that you find a way around this dilemma.

Well, China also has got a long history of castration, so maybe there is also a little bit of acceptance for that today. Whatever you do, remember it's your life. You don't have to please others by being someone you don't want to be.

Never mind the family. This is your life and you should live it up as you wish. The true question here is, do you want to father a child ? You are still young and perhaps you're not yet ready for that. There are gays you wish to have a child when they set up with a regular gay friend. Perhaps you'll develop this desire later on. I'm 62, gay and I wish I had a child, not to please my parents or family, but my self. Perhaps it'd wiser to bank some sperm before castration.

Castration is a powerful fantasy and this will remain in your mind for the rest of your life. You probably feel compel to proceed, but beware, castration will bring lot of physical and mental health issues unless you're planning on taking hormones.

When i was younger it was dificult for me to imagine that i got a child. But later in life this natural desire could awaken and grow into obsession. Either you need to store your sperm or have a cild as fast as possible. Or both. It will eliminate a potential source of depression later.

How to say? They are your family, and precious, but they are not you. Decide for yourself.

I have been castrated and happy for years now, but have not held high office in Gugong!
