If I take Androcur long enough, what kind of permanent physiological effects might happen to my reproductive system.

There is a thread I recall being named "The Time limits for chemical castration" that covered the subject quite well.

I have read that the effects of chemical castration with depo provera ARE progressively more and more permanent. Each individual will respond differently but the shrinkage of the penis and testicles will partially reverse but never fully reverse (if you use it your penis will shrink but will grow back after you quit using it - but some shrinkage will be permanent). The longer you use it the more the effects will remain forever, I am not absolutely sure, but I believe that permanent chemical castration effect was usually observed if depo provera was used for more than two years, and in some cases in as little as six months. Please do keep in mind, that I am SURE that I read it, but I am NOT sure about the time parameters, my memory is not perfect.

I dont“think androcur or depo-provera have permanent effect but a longer recovery. However The impact on the fertility could be irreversible.

There are documented cases of Androcur usage that caused permanent T production shutdown. Of what I have read I would consider Androcur more risky drug than others. It seems that triptoreline is less risky drug compared to others.
There is two ways how Androcur usage can become permanent. One is the lenght of usage which somehow damages endocrine system and it won't start up again. And the other mode is rare but can happen even after short Androcur usage. After discontinuing Androcur thing seem to return to normal first, but shortly after T-drops close to zero and never returns. More over, adding T to your system would not return your libido. Both mechanisms of endocrine system destruction are not well understood. To me it seems that Androcur somehow destroys Testosterone receptors, making them insensitive to Testosterone even after Androcur has left the system.
Probably this is the reason doctors never use Androcur on transgender children. Allways triptoreline which does not touch T-receptors.
