Color Scheme / VB Skin

In the lower left corner of the forums main page is a box to select a skin for the appearance of the forums.

So far, there's been standard and mobile.

I didn't know that this version of VB had it, but it has a quick skin builder in the Admin controls.

So I created one.

Mainly, it was because my new laptop with Windows 10 puts a blue tint on everything that I can't stand. For me, the blue forum skin here was overkill. I couldn't focus on it.

The new one called "Experimental" is a low contrast gray theme.

If you have 7, Vista, or XP running the classic theme, things should look gray. It's very nice on these OS's.

In 10, it still looks blueish, though. :(

No idea what it'll do to a Mac. Maybe Jesus will let us know.

The grey background is easier on the eyes, but it's just a bit too dark. I like it, though. I'll probably stay with it, in place of the original.

It's either this, as it is now, or white. VB won't let me tune it any finer.

The one thing I don’t like about the Experimental how it displays web-links: they are all gray, you won’t see them unless you accidentally run over them and then they become red! :(

Look at the Tread title; it becomes very pale when you point at it. 🔨
