Please, was X, now Y is enough. And gaining weight depends of how long you take your medication? Will it gone after you stop taking medication?

Are all chemically castrated fat?

I've actually lost 65 lbs. I was 270 lbs when I started my hormone trial with Androcur. It's been 3 years, and I'm now down to 205 lbs. I did it with a whole-foods low-carb diet. Basically, I cook everything from scratch myself, I don't eat grains or starchy vegetables, and I restrict all of my fast food and snack consumption to a single 24-hour period each week.

Frankly it wasn't that difficult.

Weight gain is only an inevitability if you stay on the same diet you were on before.

paleo like food is a good way to hold or decrease your weight effective.

Thanks for advice, but how much you got after castration? Please, its very important for me. Because I've read a some articles where man gained 40 kilograms - its awfull for me. My weight 70-75. 110 Kg for me its a nightmare.

Losing one's testicles is certainly a life changer. You become acutely aware of your altered state and its possible affects on your masculinity . Two of the normal effects are weight gain and loss of muscle mass. But this is not inevitable. Diet and intense exercise, plus some amount of supplement testosterone, not only prevents weight gain but reverses it. I've lost about 60 lbs since my orchiectomy and am in my best physical shape since I was my early 30s. I am very happy with the results.

Well, I actually was talking about post-CC. I lost all of that weight after going on Androcur and after my T levels at my first blood test had dropped all the way down from whatever they were before (200+ I assume) down to like 20 ng/dl. [Which is basically nothing considering that for cis women the norm is 25-95 and for men it's like 250-1000.]

Again, weight gain isn't an inevitability. It depends on your diet. Yes, if you stay on the same diet and then go on CC or are castrated, you're going to gain weight. But it's not inevitable, and you can even lose weight just like before, if you adjust accordingly.

Or if you want a more direct answer, I "gained" negative-65-lbs after I was CC'ed. :p I weighed 270 lbs (123 kg) back when I was full of testosterone, now I'm 205 lbs (93 kg) despite my T levels being basically nothing.

My urologist prescribes testosterone because of my otherwise very low levels of natural T following my castration. It can be applied via gel, patches or injection, depending on the method that works best and what one can afford. My level is tested every six months. So far, it has been great.

If you just don't change: what, the amount you eat, and the amount of physical activity: most will experience a large weight increase. You have to make sure you stay active, and not over eat to stay fit. Being active also can reduce your change of having osteoporosis. (your mileage may very)

Vitamin D-3 and intense weight bearing exercise seems to help to reduce the likelihood of getting osteoporosis. You need to work at it, as I have been successful in preventing it, so far. That, and TRT.
