Sometimes people do things that are really stupid, here is one such case.

This is a person that had no idea how a fireplace works, there is a reason there is a flue but it you could ask this person, he would give you the same reaction that a deer does when hit in the dark with headlights.

So I officially nominate this dead guy for a Darwin, he gets my vote.

Actually the modern fireplace has only been around sense OH wait for it, the 18th centruy.
