On exposure of teenagers to pornography

I was thumbing through a book about sex ("Sex for Dummies", I think) in a bookstore recently. The author's viewpoint was that young teenagers should not be exposed to pornography because it would "over-stimulate" their minds, causing them to want more stimulation, either by expending time looking at more pornography, or masturbation, or actually having sex.
I had internet access since age 11, and I have always looked at pornography. I haven't actually had sex, but I do think having sexual thoughts is a significant drain on my time.
Comments, observations? I wonder if there is a positive correlation between having seen pornography at an early age, and wanting to be a eunuch?
