Navigator's Diary

Started taking Saw Palmetto. 1280mg daily, today is the first day. Total shot in the dark, knowing the tendency for herbal products to produce very different results for different people, but ease of access means it's at least worth a trial while I do more research on pharmaceuticals. Not feeling anything off the bat, don't expect to. Gonna stick with this for at least 3 or 4 weeks, knowing that if there are effects they'll take a while to manifest.

Mood: Good.

Sex drive: The idea of getting started with this whole thing was pretty hot, not as aroused currently. Baseline sex drive is fairly low with occasional but significant upswings.

Physical changes: N/A

Other notes: Welcome to my diary thread, where I'll be tracking any hormonal/surgical treatments and their impact on me, as well as general life updates. Nice to meet you all!

Huh, I was under the impression finding a place to buy pharms without a prescription would be a lot harder. Looking at alldaychemist.com and it doesn't seem like a bad deal, but I should probably research everything a bit more.

Had a few conversations about all this over the last few days. It's pretty clear now what I want surgically, specifically both castration and penectomy. Doesn't mean I'm going to run out and get it done today of course, first order of business is to get on hormones for a while and see how I do.

Saw Palmetto, day 3. Breaking out a little, not so easily aroused but that could be any number of factors.

Think I messed up a nerve in my legs somehow, persistent pins and needles feeling. Should probably see my physician, I might also be able to get hormone levels tested without mentioning that I'm trans (my acne could, in theory, be a byproduct of wonky testosterone.)
